Google has become India’s most attractive
employer according to a survey conducted by Randstad. It has been successful in
defeating Microsoft, which bagged the award last year.
The Randstad Award is hosted every year to
identify the best employer brand in the country. Sony is the second best
employer after Google. This year Microsoft has been moved to the Hall of Fame
category.
While salary and employee benefits have
been a top priority among the workforce; work environment, growth opportunities
and work-life balance are also the deciding factors.
According to survey, the Indian workforce
prefers to work in the IT sector which is followed by FMCG.
The survey took into account the views of
more than 8,500 respondents in India.
