The Fifty Shades Darker, sequel to the 2015’s British-American erotic film Fifty Shades of Grey, got its February 10th, 2017 release date just a week ago, but the very first teaser trailer for Fifty Shades Darker has already surfaced. It is a simple and effective tease but it’s making quite a buzz already.
Donna Langley chairman of Universal Pictures pointed out that the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel will be “more of a thriller.” There’s certainly more tension and suspense in Fifty Shades Darker than the first book, but that doesn’t insinuate that the sequel is leaving the romance behind for 007-style thrills.
Fifty Shades Darker whips theaters just in time for Valentine’s Day 2017 and then Fifty Shades Freed will ensue on February 9th, 2018.
