- Kangana Ranaut aka Queen has already received the award for Best Actress National Award for her performance in the movie 'Queen' and now recently Kangana was honoured by the CM of her home state for the contribution she has put to the cinema.
- Kangana was specially invited by the CM Virbhadra to the state's event Himachal Day on April 15 as the guest of honour. However the actress couldn't grab the opportunity as she was busy shooting for her recent upcoming film, Tanu Weds Manu Returns. As someone important was to be present, therefore her parents received the award on her behalf.
- Kangana always wanted to become actress. She started her career when she was just seventeen. She received the very first national award for the role of supporting actress in the movie, Fashion. Well, that was the past, where as currently everyone's talking about her upcoming film in which she will be seen in double role, is about to release on 22nd May,2015.
