Emraan Hashmi and Amyra Dastur's starrer Mr. X rolled into the Indian theaters today. The film is a 3D science fiction thriller, directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt. The movie revolves around a man who gains the power of invisibility, and becomes a vigilante to take revenge of those who has done wrong to him.
The trailer of the movie, which was out online on March 5 was more promising than the movie itself. The movie was a 3D thriller, but a 3D thriller with a poor story line can just impress Hashmi's fan. The boiling rate or the buzz created by movie was just high when the movie was introduced and the trailers were out. But soon after the movie is released, the Boiling Rate went down.
Talking about the story, it is a love story between two ATD officers (Anti Terrorist Department) which suddenly turns into a revenge saga. Transformation of the Mr. X aka Emraan Hashmi into an invisible man is anything but logical. Bhatt's attempt to direct a science fiction is diluted by some of the tacky special effects, a convoluted plot and some random lip locks. The only question to Mr. X is Y ? Why were you made ? It seems that his transformation into an invisible man was just an attempt to create something new out of such idiotic mess.
Why you should watch this movie?- If you're Hashmi's fan.
- If you really like the trailer of the movie.
- Some average songs.
- Random Lip Locks.
- If you just want to stare the novice, Amyra.
- If you got a free pass.
Why you shouldn't watch this movie ?
- A convoluted plot
- Unimpressive acting.
- Poor story line.
- If you want to save your money.
- Its not the only one releasing this Friday.
The movie failed to boil in theaters. Some average songs and trailer gave a rise to our boiling meter, but the movie itself couldn't boil it much.
