Yamaha the bike giant launched it's YZF R1 and R1 M bike model in India . Fans of Yamaha were eagerly waiting for the launch which reached it's end.
Yamaha India has announced the YZF R1 and R1M model in India for a price of Rs 22.43 and Rs 29.43 respectively making the firm listed in India's top sports bike manufacturer .
Well the bike is not in range of common public as the cost is too high to be afforded but those who have can purchase the models and can enjoy the fast ride.
Yamaha YZF R1 and R1 M Specifications
They sport liquid cooled 998CC four cylinder engine capable of throttling power to accelerate at higher limits producing the necessary torque required by pro bikers .Weight is a bit high of 199 KG so handling the bike will require more muscle strength, Cast Magnesium alloys have been used in designing of Yamaha YZF R1 and R1 M which has reduced it's weight by 2 KG not too much but it's good for the speed , ground clearance is still 130 mm so for Indian roads it's not good but on highways it will rock like lightning ( BE SAFE Don't Drive too fast ) , fuel capacity is 17 liters enough for bikes like these.
Some safety features like Anti-lock braking system, EBD, wheelie control are there making it safer for Bikers to drive while speeds are high.
