Mobile Phone Users in India can now Enjoy as the Roaming prices that were too high in India are finally going down from May 1. The Telecom Ministry has reduced the rate of Roaming Calls as well as Messages

The Telecom Service providers are asked to develop a new plan for the roaming and Messages to be implemented on the starting of May. Modi government is being praised by people of India after the decline in the Roaming rates as people were finding their balance in risk when they pass a State.
TRAI( Telecom Regulatory Authority of India ) has cut the roaming rate of 1 rupees to Rs 0.80 and for std calls it is down by 35 paisa from 1.50 to 1.15 per minute making a big change in the tariff plans available to the Indian Subscribers.
Its not the end TRAI has another good news for you, Incoming Calls while the phone is on roaming will be charged 45 paisa/ minute which was earlier 74 paisa, now sending a SMS is also cheap which is costing only 0.25 rupees while earlier a whole big amount of Rs 1 was deducted which was a bit unfair , SMS to STD number will cost Rs 0.38 reduced by Rs 1.12 .
Roaming was a significant issue when Users were travelling to different States of India but now the prices declination will cause greater happiness as Balance is always low of maximum subscribers.
