Top Most Wanted Maoists Roopesh and Shyna got arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police

Today a big arrest took place in Tamil Nadu, India, Top Maoists couple Roopesh and Shyna were arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police in Coimbatore with three other people.

The couple were involved in 30 cases in Kerala and their arrest is very significant to the police in the region to solve other cases regarding Maoists in Tamil Nadu. Roopesh was in-charge of the Western Ghants Zone in India of the Maoists Communist Party of India who was leading the activities in Kerala.

Home Minister of Kerala Mr. Ramesh Chennithala confirmed the arrest of Roopesh and Shyna and credited police of various states of India working in a group that lead to the arrest of the famous Maoists.

States Police who put their effort in arresting involved Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Arresting of Roopesh, Anoop, Kannan, Eswaran and Shyna took place from a bakery located in Karumathampatti when they were having their evening Tea.

Police Officers surrounded bakery nearly 8:30 PM after intelligence report of their presence in Bakery, and busted them without facing much difficulty.

Roopesh is professionally a IT Engineer having a diploma degree in its field and joined Communist Party of India.
