Kangana Ranaut is anything but Meena Kumari, says Meena Kumari's step son

Film producer and stepson of late actress Meena Kumari, Tajdar Amrohi believes that Kangana Ranaut is too modern to play the character of the late Meena Kumari. Meena Kumari was known for her traditional values and her strong personality and her step son believes that Kangana might not do justice to her.

The film is titled Meenabakamaal, which can be interpreted in two ways. The first meaning being Meena, the extraordinary, while the title has both Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi's name. 

Also siding the rumors about casting Manisha Koirala for playing Meena Kumari in the film, Amrohi stated that there are three ladies playing the three phases of Meena Kumari's life and only one is from the film industry.

 Amrohi is also angry as it is reported that Tigmanshu Dhulia is also working on the same plot and believes that he and his family are the best candidates to make the film. 

As of the release date, Amrohi is planning to release the movie sometime next year.
