Hillary Rodham Clinton put an end to months of speculations and formally announced her Second Run for the White House with a digital bang which projected her as an champion of everyday Americans. The video which was launched on Ms.Clinton official website confirmed the announcement with the presidential candidate saying "I'm hitting the road to earn your vote".
"I'm running for the President"
The video was shot last week, according to a campaign. Clinton's part was shot in New York and the rest of the video was shot in places such as New Hampshire and Iowa. The video had close to 2 million views in just hours of being launched.
Within hours of announcement attacks from the Democrats began with ,former governor of Florida and younger brother of former president George W. Bush said "We must do better than Obama-Clinton foreign policy which has damaged our relationship with our allies and emboldened our enemies".
Notably her announcement came within 24 hours after president Barack Obama had given her resounding endorsement terming her a great "secretary of state and friend of his".
Not an easy path
Although she might appear to lead the run for her party's nominations she has been widely criticized for the use of a private email address and server at her home in New York. Thousands of emails were deleted from that mail which contained important information about the attack on US government compound in Libya in 2012.
Costliest Campaign??
The Campaign will began on small scale is likely to be the costliest ever presidential bid with the "super PAC's" and outside supporters looking to raise close to $2.5 billions. However many said that many would support her campaign just due to lack of alternatives in the Democratic party.
