Margarita with a Straw | Ready to Release | Trailer Review

When a story turns into a visual performance it is called a film, but when it is filled up with a brilliant performance it becomes Cinema. A literal cinema admirer always want a bit more from every shot , every dialogue and every sequence of the film. Lets talk about "MARGARITA WITH A STRAW"

Looking at the trailer of the  film , Laila (Kalki Koechelin) is a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and she falls in love with fiery young activist Khanum (Sayani Gupta). Her journey goes through Delhi University and Newyork University. The plot somehow sounds same like QUEEN and ENGLISH VINGLISH focusing on an Indian girl shifting to an unknown land and starting up a new life struggling with her everyday problems.

Kalki has turned up in the section where whatever an artist is doing it makes people feel enchanted. So undoubtedly this film will attract people and not only because of Kalki , but because of Shonali Bose whose direction has that power to make people understand without speaking a word. the way Kalki speaks to her mother Revathy , it all because of Shonali.

Music of the film is also doing good globally. Prasoon Joshi has penned the brilliant lyrics . Joi Barua's "Dusokute"   and "Foreign Balamwa"  is doing great on the charts.

I would suggest , you should go and watch the film once. it will be worth watching.
