71 years old Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley has played world leaders and sociopathic villains with versatility all these years and he just proved this trait again with his depiction of an Indian Sikh in his latest movie, ‘Learning To Drive’. And did you know that Sir Ben Kingsley was actually born Krishna Pandit Bhanji, to a Gujarati father living in Kenya. So that might be a reason that he pulled off the iconic role in Gandhi and the role of a cabbie in this romantic comedy ‘Learning To Drive’ so effortlessly.
The theme of the movie ‘Learning
To Drive’ revolves around a Manhattan writer Wendy (Patricia Clarkson),
who starts taking driving lessons from a Sikh driving instructor Darwan (Sir Ben Kingsley) as her marriage dissolves. And Ben Kingsley looks
so convincing! If you're a fan of this actor, you wouldn't want to miss this for anything in the world.
